Imports--$184.1 billion: petroleum, oilseeds, aircraft, grains, chemicals, machinery, transportation equipment, fish, consumer goods. Major sources--EU 63.9%, U.S. 3.7%.
Average exchange rate (2004): 0.8038 euros=U.S.$1.

One of Spain's biggest exports is leather goods, so any country that would be interested in leather fashion would provide a market.
