u can receive calls from the cell phone but u can't hear it ring.desperately need help!

Is it on silent? If not I would say it's just flat out broken and the best thing to do would be to take it into your local provider. (Verizon? Cingular? those stores)

call the phone place you got it at for tech support. Might want to make sure its not on silent first.

if you push the "off" botton momentarily,it will display the ringing mode...you are probably on "silent"...just scroll down to something else.

What is the brand and model of your unit?
You can do the ff:
-Increase your ring volume and be sure that your unit is not on mute.
-try other profile.

you might of put it on silent or you have it on vibrate
try to change the ring tone settings
