Should I get Animal Crossing?

If u are aged somewhere between 8-12 yes.
I only have the gamecube version. my neighbor has the DS version and LOVES it!!!! It is fun, especially for my type: i like games where u get to create a person and actully live a life.

A lot of things depend on whether you should buy it. First off, I am an avid gamer, and if there is any bit of interest in any game, I will go buy it regardless of what I have heard about it. As far as Animal Crossing goes, you have to ask yourself a few questions.

1. Who is the game for?
2. What age group are the people who will be playing it?
3. What amount of time do you have to put into the game?

This game is designed for a middle aged child, to a teenager. However, this game has been quite addictive to me at age 23. I am impressed with the depth of the game, and I feel that anyone that is debating on getting it should, whether for DS or for the Cube. It will be a staple in time for the Nintendo company. It will be no Mario, but its in that list.

Yes, you should. However, I only have the gamecube version, not the ds, though I hear that one is good too. Very addicting and very simple, with a touch of humor. It's a players choice title so you can pick it up cheap.

i havent played the 1 for the ds but the gamecube version is really sorta addicting, theres lots of stuff to do: collect tons and tons of clothes, furniture, old NES games, collect bugs, fish, dinosaur bones, do jobs on special holidays cool events happens its pretty cool
