Not that I necessarily consider them experts, but Kate Hudson, Sienna Miller, and Scarlett Johansson have all recently made it clear that monogomy is somewhat unrealistic or unnatural. Each has made it clear that they don't favor being unfaithful to their partners, but that when it comes to monogomy, reality bites (according to them).

What do you think? Right? Wrong? True? False?

anything that occurs in nature is natural therefore monogomy is natural just as well as not being monogomous is natural. I think it is getting harder and harder for people to stay monogomous becuase there is no sense of honor anymore.

Since when have Hudson, Miller, and Johansson been experts at anything but lipping scripts and looking pretty for the camera?

Yes, monogamy is unnatural for the human species. An easy way to tell a natually monogamous species from a monogamous one is to simply compare the size of the average male to the average female. In monogamous species, the males and females are the same size.

I think that monogamy really isn't an issue that should be decided by anyone except the people who are involved in the relationship. I think that nowadays it is necessary to protect yourself, meaning that for my safety I am in a relationship with only one person. I think it is & should stay a personal decision.

Absolutely it's natural! They are simply stating that the men they've encountered in life have no self control or respect for them or themselves. There are a lot of good men out there, a LOT, contrary to popular belief, and women too. People who can't stay true to someone are very weak people.

The whole institution of marriage goes against human nature...hence the divorce rates. Good point.

Most mammals, and that includes human beings, are not naturally monogamous.

Society and culture makes us so through conditioning.
