It's possible your best friend is a little jealous of you because you are better than her in some way, and she wants to tease you a little bit. Don't worry about what others say too much (only if you think it's a possibility) and just do what you think is right. If your friend says that again and makes you uncomfortable, have a talk with her and ask her why she's calling you a prep. Good luck!

Keep on straightening your hair... do what makes you happy and makes you as a person comfortable. If your friend thinks that your a prep because you straightened your hair then your friend seriously needs to grow up.

What??? How is that preppy if you're straightening your hair? My sister does that all the time, and she's like the opposite of preppy...tell her it's not only preps that do it. She has the WRONG idea.

youre doing your hair, everyone does it. Your " friend" is weird and I wouldn hang out wit her because she is just gonna be criticizing you for everything. That or shes jealous of how good you probably look. Good luck!
