We didn't find out for any of our children. It is the BEST surprise you could ever have. It is difficult because everyone expects you to find out but it is so worth the wait.
We never regreted not finding out.
If you find out it will be too difficult not to tell other people so just don't find out.

i became no longer provided a huge gamble whilst my oldest ( tremendously much 14) became born. i think of area of it incredibly is because of the fact i became 2 an prolonged time previous and worked at McDonalds, so i became on a medicaid card. I have been given ONE ultrasound at 11 weeks, and that's it. whilst i became pregnant with my 2d newborn ( tremendously much 10) I had standard coverage, and the well being care expert provided a gender ultrasound for $one hundred. I paid for it, found out i became having a woman...then right here week I had an emergency ultrasound because of the fact she became no longer kicking ( she became dealing with my decrease back). i became chuffed I had the U. S. because of the fact even 10 years in the past it became no longer uncomplicated to locate gender impartial clothing each so often. in case you went to purchase onsies you may locate one each white, yellow, and pink with flowers OR one each white, green, blue with autos in a p.c.. With my youngest ( tremendously much 4) I had much human beings. I had one at 7 weeks, 12 weeks, sixteen weeks, 22 weeks, 36 weeks. the 1st 3 have been to locate a heartbeat. i became somewhat obese, and the well being care expert could no longer dopplar it. At 22 weeks became to income the anatomy ( and gender) and at 36 weeks became to income fluid ranges ( I certainly have a historic previous of low fluid interior the final month). the pro of having the gender US achieved is calling out what intercourse you're having so which you may purchase clothing and equiptment, finalize the call, etc. The con isn't getting surprized interior the transport room, and the occasional mistake. There are some circumstances the place a woman is nonetheless to be a boy b/c a loop of twine is putting between the legs in the process the U. S.. There are additionally circumstances the place a mom is advised she is having a woman b/c no plumbing is considered, and he or she supplies a boy--seems to be a foul perspective on the U. S..

I am pregnant with # 2 and you bet your sweet butt we found out both times. YOu see we are what you called planners. We have to plan ahead. I have a boy who is almost 3 and we are having a girl. I was in shock, not to mention I cried, when I found out that it was a girl, I wanted another boy, my hubby a girl. I am the biggest tomboy, and I hope that she doesn't turn into this girly girl
princess! Sorry if I am offending any one, I am 7 1/2 months pregnant my hormones are a wee outta control! But you know as time draws closer and closer I am getting excited about it. Scared but excited! Best of luck to you! ITs the best thing I have ever gone through, being pregnant and being a mom!

I am totally glad I knew ahead of time that I was having a boy. I was able to get everything ready ahead of time, and relax toward the end. Also, I developed a relationship with him months before he was born. We called him by name through the pregnancy, and felt like we really knew him when he was born.

Although finding out your baby's gender can be quite helpful in choosing names, clothes, decorating rooms and choosing toys, I wouldn't want to find out what gender it was. It's a lot more fun when it's a surprise. I never found out for my daughter until she was born, and I couldn't be happier.

I didn't know what I was having. On my 7 month ultrasound the tech couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl? I'm glad my son was a surpirse!

My wife and I are still trying, but we both know that we want to be told right when it's possible to know. A "surprise" might be nice, but nowadays, we think it makes more sense to know so you can plan everything ahead. Names, toys, how to decorate the room, etc.

we wanted to find out (twin boys). For me it just made it easier to bond with my babies. I was pretty young when I got pregnant (unplanned), I was confused and scared, and at times it didn't seem real to me. But once I found out it was 2 boys, and I named them, it was easier to bond, and picture them, and day dream about 2 boys and what they would look like, and what it would be like to have 2 sons.
and then of course it made shopping easier!
