Don't assume that just because some of us support the War in Iraq, that we like war. And we won't assume just because some of you support abortion, that you like dead babies.

Can we agree on this?

Because I'm pretty sick of hearing both of these things.

How we personally think on both of these issues isn't really the point of this. It's about not taking a dirty cheapshot in debating the issue. Just because someone supports this war doesn't mean they like all war, And just because someone supports abortion, doesn't mean they like the idea of babies being killed.

I agree! But will my vote count if I support the troops and only think abortion is acceptable in certain circumstances?

I can tell you that I hate the fact that innocent people are dying because of this politically-decided war. But I disagree about the abortion part. I think people who won't be able to give a baby a good life should't have that baby and instead of that baby going foster homes, I would support the abortion. If my daughter gets pregnant at the age of 15 and yes it is stupid but it doesn't mean that she needs to have the baby when she is so young. There are some priorities in the life. Everything has to happen when the time is right.
