But that money you have is so comforting, is it not? Hold on to a good portion of it, and will it to charity when you die.

There are charities of all types that could use your money if you should pass on before a rainy day happens to you.
If you are not inclined to give it to a charity why not spend it now and have a good time.
Travel, shop, go to nice restaurants.
Good luck.

Put your money to good use. What good does it do a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Not saying that your soul is going to be lost, but the money will do you no good when you are gone. But think of the people who may benefit from your giving.
I am the pastor of a small ministry. It would be nothing for me to simply request a donation so that the ministry can reach out and help other people. But I do not know you, and I would hate to be looked at as an opportunist and a selfish and greedy person who might use anything offered and given to me for my own personal benefit.
Do what you believe to be good and right and true. And I pray that you go home to be with God with peace in your heart and in your soul.

Maybe you should leave some of it to a charity, like a scolarship award contest for underpriveleged kids that prove their academic excellence.
You can die with the satisfaction that you are helping the next generation.

The fact that you have the comfort of money is how you are enjoying it. When you die, leave it to a worthy cause of your choice since you don't need it anymore.
