Seems to me you answered your own question. If everything is going wrong, he is NOT Mr. Right. You're living in some kind of fantasy world that you need to wake up from.

Depends on whats going wrong. You should never start a relationship on a bad note, it doesnt say good things about the longevity of it. If it is just life in general getting in your way then don't give up because it may just be fate testing you. Nothing in life is free, easy, or cheap:)

That's when you know that Mr.Right wasn't so right.. he's more like a Mr. Wrong.
Or, you might need to communicate better and try to compromise and work out problems in the realtionship.

then if you feel like he is not the right one then tell him you need some time for you just you to think about some things! tell him you need to go on a break for a while so you can get your thoughts through cuz maybe its just a tough time right now
