Isn't that a contradiction in terms?

Sure! I would be, but it's too hard to get ahold of over here, and besides, my husband would kill me.
I'm a moderate "conservative" simply because while I don't agree with the legalization of marijuana, I do believe it should be decriminalized.
For example, here in Germany, a person can grow or smoke it in their own home. So long as they're not doing it in public, under the influence of it in public, or dealing it, for the most part the polizei doesn't care.
That's the way it should be!

Well, put it this way, I'm conservative, and while I don't condone the illegal use of substances, I believe marijuana could be legalized with no ill effects on the society. That comes from first hand experience, which I don't um , don't really "experience" any more. Read between the lines.

Translation:
I used to smoke the stuff, but don't anymore, but if I were to vote on it, sure legalize it. There just needs to be strict regulations.
Don't tell anyone I said that. SHHH

Yep ! My Brother's Brother-in-law !!

Construction Contractor, rural area, church-going, gun-toting, god-fearing guy who is other-wise law-abiding... but likes to take a puff or four on the weekend.

His opinion (and mine) is that it should be treated like tobacco or alcohol... legal, age-restricted, and taxed.

My Brother won't indulge because his job involved supervising a large power-plant. I didn't puff either when I was with the Navy... but now I like one or two when I visit the ranch.

Probably not very many, they go for the higher priced drugs like Coke, and oxy's. Their hero's George Bush and Rush Limbaugh are both addicted to drugs.

There are plenty of wingnuts who love drugs. Recent news tells me that some powerful Washington conservatives are fudge packers as well.

Please correct me if I spell h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t-e incorrectly.
