Would you do it for personal gain (love, etc.) or for financial gain? Celebrities and famous people are fair game. Just give a valid reason for creating the clone.

And please spare me the morality - we're speaking hypothetically here.

I would not wish to make a clone of anyone as a clone would have to be born as a baby as far as I am aware and I have no wish for a baby form of any existing person.

Well it would be fun to think of cloning myself & getting the clone to do all the things I don't like to do (going to work etc) except that if the clone were just like me, chances are she wouldn't like the job either!

Seriously though, even if cloning were legal, I don't believe it's ethical so I couldn't in good conscience clone anyone. I think it's a bad idea to play God. Too many ramifications. Is it really fair to the clone...? What kind of existence would it be, to be a copy? & it would lead to to many frightening prospects (clones being created for organs etc, the stuff or sci-fi thrillers & horror movies.)

Assuming that personalities get carried over, myself. I'd like to raise myself (clones won't be directly in adult form, right? If they are, then still me... I'd love to have someobdy who understood me, and I'm the only one who can do that) with a good environment and as a happy kid, and give myself basically another chance...
