How do the Democrats stop terrorism?

A wise person once asked, "What do the Democrats support in the war on terror"

Excellent question.

Terrorists know we're tracing their calls, know their money transfers are being intercepted, and we're giving them Geneva Convention protection..

So whats the Democrats "plan" to stop the terrorists?

It can never be stopped completely...First we have to recognize that... What the democrats can do to stop Terror...

1)Secure our Borders--- How can we try tostop terrorism if we do not know who is in the country.

2) Not Stay the Course and Not Cut and Run... Withdraw 50% of our military from Iraq in a timeline based on variables known only to Centcom and move those troops to the Afghanistan./Pakistan border..That is the middle eastern country that provided the launching pad for 9/11 and That is the man we should be dragging from a freakin hole....Osama Bin Laden

3) Continue the intelligence using wiretaps hovever this time follow our constitution and get the warrant from the FISA court within 48 hours...It is the law Mr. Bush ...It also applies to you...

4) Secure our ports and do not outsource their security to The united Arab Emirates...Just not very smart...

5) President should say within 10 years we we be free of foriegn oil and declare energy independance within that timetable...John Kennedy said , "In ten years we will put a man on the moon"....And We did...We have the greatest minds in the world...If we want this and commit ourselves to it ...We can do it....IF THIS HAPPENS...It would reduce our exposure in the middle east and we can draw down troop levels from all of that area..Which will limit our exposure in the area.

6) Use war only when Necessary...It is a big freakin deal!..As a write this some poor parent is probably hearing their son or daughter lost their life...For What?...We should have absolutely been in afghanistan...Not iraq...Saddam is Evil...So is Kim jong ill, Both parties have gotten us into horrible wars...The democrats with Vietnam ..The republicans with this war...Lets get out of the problem and in the solution....The solution is not staying the course......

Terrorists know all that "stuff" we're supposedly doing, yet they're still merrily terrorizing away...
Spain train attack, London subway bombings, Bali nightclubs, on and on. And more "terrorist" attacks in the place we have our highest concentration of military in the world right now (Baghdad) -- yep, that republican "war on terror" is going along swimmingly, isn't it?

I'm not a democratic leader, so what I would do isn't party policy, but here are some ideas:

1. Catch bin laden. Really, it's not that hard. It's much easier than trying to keep order in Baghdad.
2. Get our troops out of Iraq, quickly but orderly. If they want to kill each other, let 'em. As long as they stop killing our soliders.
3. End trade with Saudi Arabia (yes, I'm serious), including oil, until they stop supporting terrorism and produce a democratically elected government. Yep, it'd hurt our economy -- but it'd hurt theirs more (they have NO other product but oil), and it's time we showed them we had balls.
4. Stop breaking international laws "to catch terrorists," and show the world we mean to be an example of what we say in our constitution -- not act as bad as terrorists whenever it suits us.

Finally, get rid of the "spin talk" phrase "War on Terror." We're not fighting any war on terror -- we invaded and occupied two countries for economic and political reasons. That's part of the problem in your premise -- democrats' stance on the "war on terror" is that we aren't fighting one. All we've done is run up huge deficits by giving the money to defense contractors and oil companies. How does that fight terrorism?
