Yes you will neeed a wireless router and something call a brige is a tiny box which u can buy from your router company. You need that brige thing cuzz the PS2 doesn`t have a wireless card inside. http://www.linksys.com

yes, as long as it is fast enough to maintain the connection... in most cases... with hughes net, you'd be taking a risk cuz if the satellite is blocked, then you'll be kicked off right away.
