thanks for your answers, I havent read robert spencers book but there are lot of hadith ( events documented other then quran) where authenticity of events is suspect. Muhammad was illiterate, and quran is a highly evolved poetry with standard much higherthen ever seen before or after the holy Koran was written. The interpretation of is often out of context, majority of times. What Islam needs is something like a protestant movement of christainity.

I am not into faith - just try to be fair in all areas of my life but you ask a good question but I feel that 'christians' do not have the same devotion or the same difficulties to be driven to such an extreme action because the west holding up Israel is part of the problem - I do care for the those caught up in the crossfire but trying to be the hardest kid in the playground has not made the world any better and the leaders of that country need to rethink how to live with their neighbours and be less ready to go to war or the good people of Israel may find they are on the end of a nuclear strike and then we have another world war and all its consequences

Suicide bombing is mainly a consequence of desperation and response to extreme injustice...while I don't condone it, I think those whose atrocities and cruelty causes it, like Israelis, are the real bas--rds.
