I've been to about 35 states and Oregon is my favorite.
Good parks, museums, restaurants and breweries, mountains, ocean, wineries, cheese... it is all there!!

My favorite state is North Carolina because the town of Nags Head is beautiful and a great vacation spot. Across the sound is Roanoke Island, famous for the Lost Colony and the Aquarium. Head on over to Jockey's Ridge State Park (in Nags Head) for some incredible views on the dunes and for hang-gliding. In Nags Head, there is plenty of shopping, dining, and mini-golf courses. The houses you can rent are amazing as well. Besides North Carolina, I've been to 6 states total--New York, New Jersey, Texas (will soon), Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.

I've only been to 12 states and never been down South. Out of those states, my favorite is Wyoming...wide open country, then mountains just a drive away. And the big rodeo in the summer is a blast.
Colorado would be my 2nd fave.

48 states in total --- I'd have to say my favorite state is right where I am right now -- and retired here -- Florida. The winters are not too cold, the beach is close by, I live rurally, and enjoy the peace and quiet. After having to live on so many bases (and even quarters -- family housing -- ugh! Hate living that close to another) -- I am glad to have the room and yard and not have other homes that close to my own.

i love PA because i have lived hear my whole life and have enjoyed it but i also really liked north carolina. i have been to pennsylvania, new york, maryland, west virginia, virginia, ohio and north carolina
