I know of 2 songs named "Candy Man". One has already been posted, namely Candy Man by Sammy Davis Jr. The other was done by Roy Orbison and was a smash hit in the early 60's.

Yes, could be Sammy Davis, Jr. It has the line "you can even eat the dishes". Or it could be Orbison's completely different song, a more rockin' one.
