Or maybe he just loves you?

It depends. If it's out of the blue, for no reason at all...maybe. Have you had gift giving like that before? I know people who give each other all kinds of crazy stuff for no reason, so it's not a big deal. For me, a car would be way too much to give as a gift, even if I was hiding something.

Only if he has tryed to hide something before. Has he given you reason, besides giving you a car? Enjoy the car and if he is hiding something, it will come out! Take care.

That would depend on how totally out of character it is for him. If he is normally the type of guy who didn't even buy you an engagement ring then yes I would think he was up to something. If you really needed a car and have been complaining awhile and he got a good deal then I wouldn't worry.

Depends on the situation! He may have just been doing it as a special something most men go with flowers others jewelery but hey that's your man you should know when something is up. Don't be one to directly ask cause you will always get the he's mad at you tude.

My guy bought me a car for Christmas / birthday combined. He got it out of love for me and the knowledge I needed better transport to get around in. He told me I was committed to him forever (in fun of course)..Nothing to hide unless there's been a problem of that kind of thing before between you and your other half.

I'm a man and unless she's been bugging me to do it, if I were to buy her something expensive and it's not a new relationship, I'd very likely be trying to hide something.

Is this a trust issue, has he given you a reason not to? If no then enjoy the gift and remember to return the favor in the back seat.

Every 3 years my husband gives me a brand new fully-loaded car.

He does it because he knows I love cars.

Why make a problem when there isn't one.....unless you have a reason not to trust him.

you can't assume anything.
maybe he is trying to show you how much he cares for you and your safety.
or maybe he wants sex from you.
why are people always thinking their spouse is cheating if they do something nice for them?
