3/(4x+24)=12
3=48x+288
48x=-285
x=-285/48
=-93/16
however if the sum is (3/4)(x+6)=12
then 3x+18=48
3x=30
x=10

10.
Why? Because 12 is 3/4 of 16, and 10 +6 = 16.

you're trying to find out what x is = the answer is 8
i worked this out by 1st taking the 6 out of the (x+6) and you then must do the same to the 12 leaving 6.
next you put 6 over a one (like 6/1) now invert the3/4 to be 4/3 then you multiple the two fractions (4/3 by 6/1= 24/3) now turn this into a proper fraction by dividing the 24 by the 3= 8
now we know that x =8 (like saying 3/4 of 8 =6 then 6+6=12)
sounds complicated but its not.

you're ideal 9(x^2 + 5x + 6) + 12/(x +3)= 9/(x +3)(x + 2) + 12/(x +3)= 9/(x + 3) (x + 2) + 12 (x + 2)/(x + 3) (x + 2)= 9 + 12x 24/(x + 3)(x + 2) = 12 x + 33/(x + 3)(x + 2) = 3(4 x + 11)/(x + 3(x + 2)
