What other processes does the body use electrons for besides creating ATP?

where ever there is a flow of electricity in the body, electrons flow from a high potential to a low potential--Cardiac electricity(EKG),Brain electricity(EEG)--nerve elecrical conductance

I believe any process involving the central nervous system. That could be the transfer of sensory information to the brain from any of the senses... Olfactory (scent), Tactile (touch) etc...
