Not to be cynical or anything, but I'm so irritated by self serving celebrities serving thier own agendas. From what I heard , (and I could be wrong) this child had parent(s) who were too poor to care for him. I tend to agree with the person on TV that asked why Madonna didn't whip out her supersized checkbook, and help the family out and adopt a real orphan.

Um, NO FREAKING WAY is she a humanitarian...unless you're a guy...and are desperate....

She is a true PUBLICITY HOUND. She has a defective ego that can only be placated by constantly appearing in the top of the news.
If I ran a newsroom I would BAN all madonna articles other than those that are legitimate news items.

i wouldn't judge Madonna, but in general i think celebrities do things that are fashionable... like humanitarianism. but it's still a great thing to do, regardless of where their hearts are!

hit the lottery. At least he'll be well fed, educated & have

not really... but then again, I hardly no anything about it so my opinion isn't that backed up with the facts, whatever the facts maybe... however, when I heard about it, I thought, "This can't be good for the kid." and "This is a publicity stunt."
