All this people is SO wrong, I´m sick of those who think we mexicans live like animals. The legal age for smoking is 18 and you really CAN´T buy cigarretes or alcohol if you don´t show a valid ID. Of course there are all this younger teenagers that manage to get them but it happens all over the world.

I´ve seen underage kids being sent by their parents to buy cigarretes and the lady form my local grocery store never ever sells them, she´s alway like: "Tell your dad to come and buy them for himself, ´cause I can´t sell YOU cigarretes.".

It doesn't matter because the laws in Mexico are a joke just like the government...... why do you think they're all trying to come to the US?

18 but no one cares they will sell u the ciggarents anyways, u can buy liquor at 5 years old no one cares lol, i been to mexico plenty of times to know this.

legaly is 18 but on the streets you can find 6 yr old kids smoking

I don't think they care i've seen little kids buying cigars but problably 15
