I would say Punisher, but the word HERO is in there. Punisher is a psychotic, sadistic and sociopathic man who was driven to madness from the loss of his family and survives by inflicting pain and death on the evil of the world. While I do appreciate the fact that some people are too evil to live, it takes away his humanity and makes him unrelatable to good, honest people.

But in reality, I would have to say Wolverine. Yes he kills people, but he certainly doesn't want to or enjoy it. That savage part of his personality is something he is always wrestling with.

The Maxx - Big, prehistoric, purple bunny-suited dude living out of a box in a city being terrorized by a serial rapist / murderer. Anti-hero without the bad streak - he's just a huge, mentally disturbed homeless guy trying to get by in this (out of) work-a'-day world and keep his cute, blonde, fashion-challenged social worker from getting kidnaped by a bunch of psychotic smurfs.
No, I didn't just make that up out of my own diseased imaginings... Anybody know where I can find episodes of the show?
