i had a nasty cold over the weekend and im 90 % recovered now. the thing is = swimming. i skipped it on saturday and i'm debating whether or not i should skip it today. my coach says to still come even if you're still sick cus it helps you fight your cold. but i have tons of hw and i know that there's going to be a hard swim set waiting for me. i dont want to swim hard until i feel 100% recovered. i also have a swim meet this weekend. should i go to practice or skip?

You should skip it until your 100% better, cuz your coach is wrong once you get in that cold water your get sicker,You should skip and catch up on your hw.At least that what I would do.

You should say the folowing, with a few of your own tidbits added into it to make it sound real, and also act really dazed and sad and modest and stammer a lot: " I was walking towards Swim practice, when suddenly i felt something. I looked towards my left and there was a little girl being bullied. Her eyes were all puffed up and tears were streaming down her face. There were two guys picking on her and calling her bad names. I didn't know what to do, and i guess , i was trying to figure out something...and...and...i guess i'm trying to figure out what the world has come to and what i should have done. well...the whole incident kinda disturbed me and i ...i was too heartbroken and...umm i guess dazed , to go to swimingpractice." Or...U could just tell the truth

You should go...
Think of your swimming career as building a brick wall...
Every practice ur go to is a brick, every practice u skip, you take one brick away...
It may not seem like a big deal now, but in the long run, it will hurt your final outcome... (Your swimming skill/speed)

I think your coach is crazy. How does submerging yourself in water help your cold?? I'd skip it and maybe just go jogging instead or something. Oh, and have a nice big donut or something when you get home. ^_^

I would wait on your place..your body will recover 100% and faster if you don't exhaust it and if you're resting..and swimming is really exhausting for body..one of hardest sports..so wait a bit more..it'll be better for you..

Okay, I give you permission to skip today. Just be sure and get your homework done as it is more important. But come tomorrow, back to swimming, pal.
