I don't know if public transportation will get you to Upper Canada Village. I hope you manage to get there. I worked there for several summers, and I just love the place. Are you able to rent a car? If not, maybe you could take a bus to Morrisburg, and take a taxi from there. Good luck!

There is no public transport to Upper Canada Village but it is well worth the visit especially if you add another activity, like a picnic along the seaway or a trip to the 1000 islands out of Gananoque.
There may be a tour operator that does that from Ottawa. I have not found it though.

the city public transit (OC Transpo) will not get you there as Upper Canada Village is outside of Ottawa. You can try Greyhound bus from the bus terminal.
Upper Canada Village is located in the heart of Eastern Ontario on County Road 2 (formerly Highway 2), 11 km (7 miles) east of Morrisburg and 29 km (18 miles) west of Cornwall.
From Ottawa
Take Highway 31 (Bank Street) south to Morrisburg. Turn left on County Road 2 (formerly Highway 2) and travel east 11 km. Alternatively, take Highway 416 to Highway 401, travel east to to exit 758 (Upper Canada Road). Travel south then turn left on County Road 2 (formerly Highway 2) and travel east 2 km.

i decide for to apply public transport. All in all it incredibly is plenty extra low fee than paying all the charges that are in touch interior the working of a vehicle; petrol, parking, coverage, street tax and maintenance. frequently whilst buses are previous due it incredibly is because of the fact of site visitors. i think of that too a lot of human beings tension with only one man or woman of their vehicle. The kind of autos on the line may be so much less if human beings merely vehicle shared. Public transport does desire somewhat some progression. If the call for became extra beneficial possibly issues might strengthen at a quicker p.c...
