well my bastard ex lives 2 1/2 hours from me...i used to drive up there to see him almost every weekend for a year....blah blah blah...broke it off with him since it wasnt working out and now he wont leave me alone. he harasses me all the time....calls my house, my cell (changed it 3 times) , parents cell, work, friends, harasses my friends online (messenger and myspace) so ive changed all the numbers and stuff....but for some reason he still threatens to "blackmail" me with my photographs and me doing stuff im not supposed to do so im thinking of getting a restraining ourder on him....but he told me before i stopped talkin to him that me calling the cops on him and getting one on him would ruin his life....he'll get fired but yet he still bugs me....and not sure if i do get one that he will stop bothering me...or maybe make my life even worse

get a restraining order and start documenting everything, blackmailing & stalking are crimes and if he gets fired for having a restraining order on him remind him that he only did it to himself for doing these things to you, as for pictures he has of you ... don't sweat them ... they'll only be embarassing for a little while ... but he'll keep playing his game till you get hurt.

A restraining order is not going to ruin his life but if he breaks it then he will go to jail you can explain that to him and the cops will too and all he has to do it is once. You dont need to live like that basically a restraining order is about recording what has happened so far and try to stop whoever violates it. The only problem with this is that people have gotten killed even with a restraining order in effect and by that time it is too late

If you get a restraining order on him and he still bothers you than he will get in BIG trouble with the cops! Who cares if it ruins his life?

He's ruining yours. What he's doing is NOT cool & you should get a restraining order & fast. He's crazy.
