It does depend on the model and year of the car itself but a general rule is -20 Celcius / Farenheit. SO GLAD I don't have to do that anymore! Sometimes though people wonder why I have a plug hanging out of my hood!

ive had cars that would start , unplugged in -40 (glad they were company cars though ) with a good battery ,strong antifreeze mix, 5w 30 oil - 20C is a good number, if your car complains too mutch, get a timer and set it to come on 3 hours before you need to start the car, good luck dont freeze your buns
