There really isn't a definite answer for that question. I am a plus size woman and asked my husband the same question when we first met 4 years ago. According to him, it is all personal preference - some men like big, some like small and some like extra small / extra large. I think that there's no way to define why we like certain types of men/women since there are many factors to consider ie. societies & families influence,physical attraction etc. This question seems more personal - Have you been rejected because of you're size?

Well my husband loves me and I am thin and always have been. I have gained a little more curves since having my daughter 4 1/2 years ago and my husband says he actually likes my body better now with a few curves rather than with no curves. I guess each to his own. I am not exactly sure why. Maybe in the case of a smaller man it may make him feel bigger and more masculine to have a smaller thinner lady. Maybe thin women do remind them of all the pretty women they see in magazines and those lingerie ads. Maybe they had thin Moms growing up and that is what they like. It will be interesting to hear what any of the men on here think about it.

The media puts out this Fake "beautiful" image that is so hard to achieve. That men go out of there way to find these women. They think that these women will make them happy. Then they realize most skinny women have a bad attitude and are mean . I mean no offence not all women that are thin are mean, but most of the ones I have met are mean. So I am just speaking from my experience. Most guys are attracted to that I am a ***** type of girl. Someone that will allow guys to chase after them. Why it is still a mystery to me. I am just glad I am married and I don't have to put up with the sh** that goes on in the dating world!

most men prefer thin women because it is very attractive to them and that is just how it is with them like money is to people. but i have met some of the most confident and lovable women who were big and not thin. i think those women should be just as attractive to men as thin women..............they have confidence thin women can learn from. plus, they are so funny, too.

I prefer them because it represents their femininity to me. Other men like the curves of a more voluptuous woman for the same reasons.

Thin women may look more appealing, more attracting, especially when naked, or just wearing sexy clothes. I think women like thin too.

it's probably in their genetic makeup. they may not have a choice they are hard wired for certain types just as women like certain guy's do you like men with lots of muscles? some do some don't

Different men want/like different things in a woman....it's no big deal. Just like different women like different things about guys. Think of two things you like about guys that some of your friends may not.....no difference...don't worry about it
