Yes, it's perfectly fine. For the person who mentioned yellowing, that is going to happen, but it depends on the colors you use. Dark colors cause this the most, and this is only when you wear them for extended periods of time (as in more than one week). The best way to prevent this is to buff your nails and always seal with a clear coat before polishing. If you get yellowing, no problem...just soak in a solution of peroxide and baking soda for a few minutes...I have also heard of people using lemon juice. Someone also told me that denture cleaner works...only need to soak about 6 minutes or so. I polish my toes ALL the time, winter or not, and I don't have any yellowing problems.

If you dont give your nails a chance to breath, they turn yellow.
Be sure to clear away your polish and let them breath for AT LEAST a week or so.
So they don't turn yellow that often, put on a clear coat of varnish before you regular polish.

They have stuff to remove the stain... PAINT EM IF YOU WANT HONEY
Plus there is this really cool 'white pencil' that you can use to make them almost pure white UNDERNEATH and then you dont have to use polish and that is a very pretty natural yet french manicure looking thing you can do...
also nail tattoos are fun and you should try implanting jewels... toe rings are good too.
I try to get mine done at the salon once a month or so. :-)

When I do that, my toenails turn a little yellow. It might be different with different people.
