Yes I believe your husband needs a wake up call. I am wondering if you have someone you can go stay with for awhile to catch up on the overdue bills.. A place where you and your son can rest your head. Its time to separate. Tell him you won't come back unless he can keep a job stand on his own and pay the bills.. He should be the head of the household.

I am sorry you have to go threw this storm in your life but every storm will pass.. Its about the lesson you learn from it. You have a child to worry about, while you a penny left leave. Your child should come first before any man.
Continue you share your love and strength with your child. PRAY for guidance.

You have to make some life changes for the betterment of your life not the man.

He may be miserable at his job. Perhaps his boss is terrible or he feels he can't do it well. Men like to feel like they are successful and that they can do things well. Maybe he just needs a new job. Either that, or he got fired and is embarrassed to tell you like someone else said. You could just suggest that since it seems like he's no longer happy with his job he should start looking for something that will make him feel happy and fulfilled. Sure, he needs to be a man and step up to the plate and take care of his family, but if you help him feel like a man he will be more likely to do so. Nagging won't help.

Leave him. Maybe when he realizes you're gone, he'll straighten up. And that's one less mouth you have to feed. Do you have parents or another family member you can move back with? Can you get a job? Also, talk to creditors about your bills. Some of them will work with you. Or you could go to credit counseling. I believe it's offered through United Way, among other agencies.

maybe he has lost his job already and hasn't told you. But, talk to the creditors, and find out if he still even has a job. Sounds like he may be going through a bout of depression...what's happened in the last 6 months? If the apt. is in your name, and you can afford it, ask him to leave. If the car is in your name, talk to the creditors. If he is just being lazy, you're first obligation is to your child...not a man-child.

You need to put your child first, and do whatever it is to ensure the security of his future.

Take him and go to your mums or a friends place and sort this out. ( shock tactics may work so he knows your serious!!) You cant keep living like this it will wear you out.

Try and talk to hubby, if he has any sort of decency in him he will understand.

Good Luck
