HELL NO!! Maroney is doing good, but he surely won't do as well as Johnson in the last half of the season. Remember what kind of stats Larry got in the last 8 games last year?

No, Although Laurence Maroney has more immediate potential, but when Trent Green comes back, and loosens up the run with that passing game, and when it gets to be later in the season Larry Johnson will pull through with his conditioning. (remember Maroney is a rookie, so he doesn't know what a full season is like.

do not pay attention to the guy telling you to maintain Maroney. He become the starter final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in that huge offense and in basic terms had 835 yards and six TDs. there have been many backup RBs that did greater effectual than that. Larry Johnson become injured lots of the season final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. the two years in the past that he rushed for over a million,seven-hundred yards and had 17 and 20 TDs. So, even if if the different guy become top approximately Johnson being washed up (yet he's not) a healthful Johnson can a minimum of tournament the grim numbers Maroney post final season. so which you have not something to lose by utilising procuring and promoting for Johnson, and a heck of plenty to earnings if he excels like he did the two seasons in the past final. stable luck.

Go for it, man. Maroney is a great rookie - one of the best this year - but rookies are notorious for their inconsistency. He's just as likely to "lose it" next game as he is to rush a hundred hards. He was poor against Miami, too. With Larry Johnson, on the other hand, you know exactly what you're getting. Do the trade, man.

I wouldn't

LJ has a lot bigger upside and Maroney is still going to split carries with Dillon. LJ is the main back and will get a lot more oppotunities (although the Chiefs did get smashed yesterday!)

R u kidding??? Your giveing your number one draft pick for someone who isnt even a Starting RB???

Dude LJ will be fine once Green comes back and takes pressure off LJ and starts tossing the ball around

Maroney is the #2 back for the Pats behind Dillion.

Do not make this trade

no way! maroney will continue to split carries the rest of the season.

johnson had an injury, a minor setback sure. but will continue to have an explosive career.

any back that continually splits carries on a week to week basis is not a consistent starter.

dont do it
