i have to write a paper on the individual effects of radio and the industry structure...i was going to try to use howard stern as an example, but i have absolutely NO idea whatsoever on how to even begin writing this paper...any ideas would be appreciated...thanks

What do you want to say in your paper?

Since you mentioned Howard Stern, you can use examples of Free Speech v. Public Standards. Stern was notorious (if that's the word) for using improper language on his radio show. How did he change radio? You can also use the effects of "talk" radio - in particular, the political aspects of it- the Christian Right v. the Left. ( Al Franken and Air America are considered liberal)

You may need to go back to the 1930s when Fr. Coughlin had his radio program.
