Be honest; do you get upset when you see white women or women of other races with black guys?
I was watching a movie last night (Phat Girls) and the character was made because she saw a white girl with a black guy. How does this make you feel? If you don't want to answer it here, please just message me.
Oh, yes. And why do you think that many black men seem to go for white women, and vice versa?

I'm not a black women and I dont have an answer for this but I do have alot of more white friends than I have african american. For one I think that african american men go for white women because of their personality. THey might not seem as strong and relationship controlling as their own race.

Some black women get upset at the fact that they see black men with women who aren't attractive in their eyes and who to top it off are of a different race. Personally I think black men go for white women or any others for 2 reason
1. Subconsciously they want a woman of another race(especially white) because it was forbidden to them for so long and it is their way of getting back at society. It also seems to be a way of saying, "Hey! I've made it look what I can do and what I got!"
2. I think back men have come to stereotype black women, and in doing that they feel like all black women are like the worst girlfriend they ever had. They had one terrible relationship with a black woman and have decided that all the rest are like that.
I don't care what race people intermingle with, as long as one doesn't lose their culture, and that the other can respect and appreciate their differences and not try to become something they are not.

Personally, it makes me no difference.
I am all for interracial dating.
Whoever you are with concerns no one else.
When I see this stereotype, I am insulted because it makes it seem as if we are jealous of the white woman.
What I don't get is how many people that believe that nonsense.
Don't get me wrong, some women are ignorant like that, but you won't see that out of me.
In real life, however, I do notice that more white guys are attracted to black women and you're going to get negativity from both sides.
My thing is if you are secure in yourself, why be focused on other people?

Well, I am a white woman so I don't know why this is so. I am going to speculate. I think that people in general are attracted to opposites. For instance, I don't know of any white men who WOULDN'T be attracted to the likes of Hallie Berrie, Beyonce, etc. My brother would give his eye tooth to hook up with a lot of black women whom he finds very beautiful. He tells me they are exotic looking and that they look regal. I don't know, maybe the same is true for black men? They are just attracted to something different. There are beautiful people in all races, so it is all cool to me. If people are happy. then I am happy for them.

It doesn't bother me, honestly, but I think it's because I've been exposed to it alot. My brother is married to a white woman and I can't imagine a sweeter, kinder person for him to be married to. Same goes for one of my cousins that married one of my best friends.
I think a lot of people who did get upset think that black men find them less attractive or think of them as inferior to white people, but that hasn't been my experience. All my boyfriends have been white.
