Uhm. What do you call that job where you help people with problems?
Like the person that you sit down and listen to them tell about their 'problem' or something and you sit there and take notes..
What's that job called?
Does it pay good?

A psychiatrist must be a medical doctor as well as studying the human psyche and psychiatric medications. They get paid well. If he then trains in the tradition of Freud, he can be a psychoanalyst, monster money.
A psychologist has at least a master's degree in psychology, and can be a counsellor and also administer and interpret tests, like the MMPI and thematic apperception (inkblot). If they take extra training in pharmacy, they can prescribe psychiatric meds, and are the highest paid psychologist, the clinical psychologist.
A licensed social worker can counsel, and sign legal papers, and liase with courts on behalf of a client.

A Psychologist. A Psychiatrist is a doctor specified in psychology. The difference between both is the a Psychologist is a person who talks about you problems and solves them like a counselor . The Psychiatrist dies the same thing but i little more can give medication and therapy if possible. Also is a doctor. MD
If you want to know which one pays more it would be a Psychiatrist.
The Psychologist makes up to 60,000 a year depending on states
a Psychiatrist makes 150,000 or more depending on the states where you work.
Remeber the psychiatrist makes more because she/he is a doctor.

once you meet with a psychiatrist it rather is purely for 10 to fifteen minutes and you get prescriptions. once you meet with a psycologist you meet for one hour and communicate approximately something on your existence, previous, cutting-edge, and destiny. it rather is with the psycologist which you study to alter and strengthen your existence by ability of attending on your deep themes.

it could be therapist, or counselor. Psychologists talk with people about their problems, stress etc. Psychiatrists are medical doctors who diagnose psychological disorders and usually prescribe medication to treat the problems.
