A 'score' is twenty years, so "Four score and seven years ago..." would be 87 years.

Note: The Gettysburg address was made in 1863, so the events that he was talking about were in 1776 (87 years prior), when the Declaration of Independance was signed, and the resulting Revolutionary War.

I think a score is 20 so four score would be 80 and 7 would make it 87.
