The IT manager does future forecasting, generates reports on system uptime and performance. He/She provides the budget to his/her team to decide on the tools they need in order to do their job.
They are also the main point of contact for escalations and maintenance scheduling.

The IT Manager manages all the information technology of the offie. So all issues regarding computers, the network, and some phone issues are under the direction of the IT Manager.
