I don't know but the BCS is weird. For example, Tennessee killed Cal the first game of the year but Cal is still ranked ahead of Tennessee in the BCS. It don't make sense.

Yeah Auburn got beat by a RANKED Arkansas and then beat a RANKED Florida. Notice the RANKED in there. That is a key thing to how some of the points are determined with the BCS computers. Texas hasn't got any "quality" wins and that is going to hurt their rating by the BCS. Oh and Ohio State KILLED Texas just as bad as Arkansas killed Auburn, but I guess you forget that because it wasn't last week.

The problem with Texas is that they have played, besides Ohio State and Oklahoma, a very weak schedule. North Texas is 2-4, Rice is 2-5, Iowa State is 3-4, and Baylor is 3-4 (not to mention playing Sam Houston State). Their schedule does get tougher, starting with Nebraska this week.

super question , I to am from Txas, yet i trie to be independent. SEC faculties have been getting hosed for the previous 4 yrs. Auburn went undefeated, yet USC have been given the nod to play interior the Championship pastime against ok. Florida, & Auburn play in a confrence have been LSU Arkansas and Tennesse blended have 4 losses entire. Theyre potential of time table against the vast 12 isnt even close. as long as we(longhonrs) shop doing are area by ability of prevailing , relax assure the powerhouses will lose back. their confrence is to confusing to pass by way of. i could be greater excited approximately those sturdy for nothings interior the vast east. Lousville is undefeated. They beat Rutgers, and youre gonna have a tricky time telling the BCS they dont belong.

It's all based on a point system, and, evidently, Auburn has more points than Texas. Don't worry, because IF Texas keeps winning, and Auburn loses again, Texas will move up.

bcuz the SEC is by far the hardest division and both have only lost 1 game but they take into account how well the teams have played and who they have played...texas hasnt really played anyone good except ohio state who they got destroyed by...

It's simple it's the BCS.
The system is stupid and never makes full sence but it's supposed to have to do with not only who you lose to but who they played.
