Yes...plenty of Yanks know him as a star for Manchester United. Also, he has quite a scandalous life so he's been in the sporting news a bit, even over here. I still don't totally blame him for the WC incident, what everyone forgets is he was fouled beforehand and there is no doubt in my mind that C Ronaldo added "a little fuel to the fire". It still is to be wished that he'd have kept his cool for England's sake, but....then he wouldn't be Rooney...

No he's no longer. To be basic it replaced right into a exhilaration to observe him play for huge factors of final season. He truly regarded like a actual, English, international type footballer (and that i do no longer label gamers as international type gently). After his injuries he's regarded a shadow of himself and that i'm particular the matters in his inner maximum life have not helped. i'm additionally uncomfortable that he seems to spend tons of time making television categorised classified ads. gamers like Giggs and Scholes have spent their careers focusing on their soccer... i did no longer comprehend Cantona suggested that. I truly have a feeling he could be ideal. like it or no longer, Robbie Fowler is a prime occasion. deadly striker, yet complete as a proper type participant in his mid 20's.
