That depends on if you still love your spouse. If you do then go to counseling and try hard to save your marriage. If not then get a divorce and allow both of you to move on with your lives.

As the above also tell you, you should try at all lengths to make things "work." Marriage should last until death in my opinion. Yes, it takes two I know, but go ahead and get counseling for yourself. It is a start and prayerfully your spouse will soon choose to go with you, but at least you can make the start. Prayers =)

You and your spouse should make your marriage your #1 priority. Keep the lines of communication open and discuss everything. Don't let the outside world ruin the marriage for you, keep other people from coming between you.

As hard as you would want your spouse to try
With true love hard work is not an issue and you do what it takes to learn to live with each other by communicating often about all issues . Learn to listen and dig deep into yourself as that is the best place to start --- With yourself

sister, if its only one person trying to make it work, it takes like forever, I think it can't even ever work. At some point you will just giveup. Its weird, when you are trying so hard, the other just isn't giving a sh*t about it. Then when you give up, they try to save it and it like a damn cycle of desperate failure :(

Very Hard. Marriage is not just something we do. We make vows under god so we should try hard to keep our marriage together.

I would think only as hard as your spouse is willing. If it is not working, you're wasting your time. Note... all those "hard as you can" people are probably single.

It takes two & if you are the only one giving it your all, only you will be the one to know when you have had enough. Don't let others tell you to leave or give up because they are outsiders...only you will know when you have had enough...of course if you are in an abusive relationship...then now is enough.
