Unfortunately they believe that God is on their side also. Jesus taught that "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the Kingdom of God." The United States is anything but peacemakers.

God is on our side?!? What are you talking about? God does not "take sides" as you think. Blessed are the meek, blessed are the peacemakers, these are the ones God supports with love and guidance. God doesn't love you because of what country you live in.

everyone may or may not have the same god, so the terrorists could claim that they have god on their side. They would probably be right since they are from a different country, different religion, and different society.

this reminds me of the "chosen ones of God" who were crushed by a terrorist group, recently... Maybe they should convert to Christianity and "accept his blood"; like that they can go killing indiscriminately without ever expecting any defeat.
NB they may, however, lose 3 soldiers/day as we are doing in Iraq!

they may win if people like yo get cocky about it. if jesus is really on our side then wouldn't we have won already? and jesus didn't die for us he died for all human race. and sorry to break it to ya but last i checked terrorists are human too. and now that i get my jets cooled a little. they have a god that they believe in and they believe that their god is on their side.

Well, the trouble with your contention is that those morons believe in God just like us. They call him Allah. They do not believe Jesus was our savior, as we do. AND IMAGINE THIS, THEY THINK GOD IS ON THEIR SIDE.

My basketball coach used to think we had God on our side, and our high school team went 1-19...unless you have proof God is on our side, I wouldn't assume anything.
