Political correctness has gone way to far. People are politically correct becuase they are worried about hurting someones feelings. Guess what, your feelings are not protected by the Constitution, Preamble, or the Bill of Rights. Thank you Mr. Carlos Mencia for bringing that point to my attention one year ago. For all the people wanting to be politically correct, thank you for dividing our country. In Roosevelts words "There is no room for hyphenated Americans."

Gone to far. I was joking around once with a friend and I called her a gypsy, and our teacher had a fit and gave us a long speech about how the term was politically incorrect. Can't get the joke, people?

Political correctness should not be confused with courtesy and respect. Too many people blame 'political correctness' for not allowing them to publicly express hateful and racist views. Avoiding words like ni**er (sorry, Yahoo censorship!) and Paki is nothing to do with PC, it's simple good manners.

Racists invent stories about nursery schools singing 'Baa Baa Blue Sheep' and teachers not being allowed to talk about blackboards to undermine and ridicule multiculturism.

You can express opinions. You can say them out loud, but courtesy dictates that they are based on fact, not prejudice and hatred. What you can't do is unfairly discriminate against people on spurious grounds like race, gender, physical appearance etc. That's not PC, that's common sense.

All I can say is that those believe in political correctness to avoid hurting some one's feelings or insulting them, should get on this site and ask a few questions. Then, they will find out what REAL insults are.

This is just the beginning. The idea of "Political Correctness" is to make sure that every race, colour and creed get to have their say, and that they can't be victimized for it. Fair enough.

But the fine print that you never get to see, is that it is all at the expense of the white man - God forbid he should put a viewpoint forward! Bloody racist whitey's!!!

Whitey sold his country fifty years ago, don't let him utter the word "England" on this Muslim soil!

I think that the policy of being politically correct is causing more racism than there would without it.
What worries me is that they a driving British people into the clutches of the BNP
