As an owner of an Accord (2000), I will warn you that this car is not made to drive fast. Unless you happen to have an H22 under the hood, you're not going to get much HP without nitrous or a turbo (better choice). You could add a few (10-15) HP with mods such as intakes, exhaust and a header though.

You can get a turbo for the engine, but why would you buy a Honda Accord if you wanted speed or power? Trade it in for something with at least a V6 motor! If you want to save $$ Try increasing the intake or replacing the mufflers with something a little more free flowing for minimal $$ and minimal increase in power.

Buy a faster car. Serioulsy man, Honda motors are already amazing at maximizing HP for the size. Any mods you make will reduce the life of the motor or destroy it. Leave it as the engineers intended it. Sell it and use the proceeds and the money you saved not suping it up with junk on a car that is fast from the factory.
