Hi this all depends what sot off fracture you had was it displaced at all ? Did you have an operation ? Usually once you come out off an plaster cast tou can normally put weight on that foot straight away but as i said before it all depends where the fracture was and how bad the fracture was.Once your out off the cast still use your crutches for a wk to 10days and you can put weight on that foot gradually but not all at once this will take time til you can put full weight on,also you will find your leg will feel alittle strange (light) also you will have some muscle wastage too which will come bck swimming is good for this.Wearing high heals is a no no where flat shoes for now till you get confidance bck and all the swelling and pain has gone.Good Luck

Just take it easy, Wear Trainers and go to the pub, Until you can wear heels and go to the club.

I had a full plaster on for 4 months but I still went out.

You'll be able to walk, but, after 5 weeks in a cast, the muscles you use to lift yourself up on your toes when you walk will have atrophied. It will take a week or two to rebuild them so you can walk normally again.

At least, that's what it was like for me.
