I'm planning an overnight stay in St Louis in a couple weeks with my boyfriend. We want to visit the Brewery in St Louis. Any recommendations on hotels? Has anyone been on a factory tour there? Any insight/advice would be appreciated...I have checked several travel sites, but I would like Yahoo!Answerers advice....Thanks!
Oh....we aren't flying in..we are driving from Peoria....if that makes a difference...

I have been on the Brewery Tour. It is kind of boring, unless you want to know the brewing process. The only good thing is seeing the horses and the samples you get at the end.

The closest hotels to the brewery tour will be the downtown hotels. The brewery is just south of downtown. Some of the downtown hotels are: Holiday Inn, Drury Inn, Renissance, Millineum, Westin. There are more, but that is all I can get from memory.
