The Mets are having an outstanding season but the Yankees have the veterans, a deep coaching staff, and loads and loads of playoff experience. Yes, some current Yankees are still looking for their 1st title, but you can't go wrong having a Jeter, a Bernie Williams, a Mariano Rivera and a coach who has been around 10+ years at the helm leading his team. Plus, Steinbrenner is intimidating and pissed off.. The Yankees better win or whoaaaaa watch out.. $300 million Yankee payroll next season!

If we're dealing on the fantasy level, why not a Cubs White Sox subway series? Or even less probable, the Nats and Orioles? (I burst into laughter just typing that one.) There is no subway series this year. The only question is whether the Tigers are going to need 4, 5 or 6 games to win the World Series, whoever staggers out of the NL.

Mets are doing incredible this year. The Yankees were doing horrible. Mets would've beaten them.
