I am a christian, and I was given a hebrew name. Odd.
It means "God gives."

My name's Sophie.I searched in a name meaning site and it says that Sophie is a greek christian name, which means wisdom!I think it's a good one,after all! : D

Yes, it's quite important. I like the biblical name Ham. He was one of the sons of Noah. I like a ham sandwich on rye. I should have been named Ham. The meaning of this is quite obvious.
