because they are boys, REAL MEN don't cheat. they are too busy taking care of the one woman they have. and when i say taking care i don't mean only physically, i mean mentally, emotionally and spiritually see a real man knows that to truly care for a women you have to check off all those sections previously mentioned and that requires a lot of time, patience and energy not only physically energy but mental, emotional and spiritual as well. see honey a relationship is an investment and no matter wether you are a woman or a man when you invest in a relationship at some point you expect to see a return on your investment. meaning in the particular case if you invest you time, emotion and spirit and body and the guy does not do the same and he cheats on you (and if he is cheating on you he is not investing in you or anyone else) then you need to just accept you made a bad investment, cut your losses and move on. hope this answers your question.

Boys/Men cheat because they are immature and have not learned to value a girl/woman yet.
Never take it personal when someone cheats on you, especially when you know your worth and you have been nothing but good and honest with them.
Wondering why they do what they do is a big waste of time if you ask me. If you are young and still in school, keep it light. Dont try and get into any serious relationships where the guy tells you he loves you and will not cheat on you, keeping it real......He doesnt know that at this point because he hasnt had enough life experiences and if grown men still cheat, you know he isnt ready for that type of commitment. I am not saying women dont cheat, but women cheat for a whole nother reason.

The latest studies show that 40% of married women now cheat on their husbands. As a single man, I've met quite a few of them first hand. And I won't give them the time of day.
But that should go to show you that it's not just the boys.

Lack of self-control.
Lust and the temptation of forbidden fruit (with all the excitement, lure of the unknown, etc.) is extremely powerful - hence the addiction to porn and prevalance of sex in every media and marketing channel in our culture.
We are repeatedly told by the culture that cheating isn't a big major deal, that the consequences are inconvenient and a little embarrassing at worst.
So the excitement and lure of temptation makes it easy to give in. But the exact same thing goes for girls, as well as boys.

They are afraid of committing to one girl (relationship) and they think they see something better out there but then they realize they lost the one they really cared about and now it's to late. Boys in general can be very rude & stupid. They really don't think about what they are doing.

It is human nature to perpetuate the species. Males have more testosterone so are more aggressive about it. Whether sex is involved or not it is the 'possession' factor that makes for problems.
