Homecoming queen? Jock? Geek? Drifter? If you don't feel you fit a stereotype, why?

I was the dark offbeat artistic type, a bit of a drifter/rebel who didn't care too much for school. I would ace honors creative writing class, but not give a flip about other classes (something I'm not proud of). It wasn't until college that I excelled and found my niche. I probably haven't changed too much. Dammit.

Ages ago, when I was in high school, I was regarded both as totally wild and also as a nerd. I got drunk and got laid a lot (knew ways to get in trouble that most of the other kids only dreamed about), but I also dated the president of the Science Club and had a lot of "geek" type interests and activities. I preferred the company of people who could actually think, which meant that I hung out with too many people from the Chess Club. Also, I was very active in band, and the band people were all called "Band F*gs" and were not considered popular (but then, I ended up with tons of music scholarships while the people who made fun of me stayed in the old hometown pumping gas while I went to college). But I was regularly elected to student government and got all the usual yearbook awards ("Most Talented", "Most Popular", etc), so I was kind of a mixed bag. I guess I was a geek with a popular streak.

I was a cheerleader. I guess i fit the "popular cheerleader" stereotype.. I was also a "brain"...we are all many things. Oh, and I was a goody two shoes too. I went to a smaller high school, so even though there were cliques, I don't think it was as bad as in some larger cities.

Oh, and I am still a "brain" and somewhat of a goody two shoes. But an over 30 cheerleader would just be silly ha ha ha.

I was the "bad boy" type, but also a brainiac. Some would've mistakenly called me a bully, but I never fought anybody who wasn't bothering me first. I did some time in juvenile jail, assaulted a teacher, destroyed school property (I was coping with terrible abuse at home, and later, with the death of my parents, including my father's suicide) but despite all that, I kept my grades up, and eventually graduated top of my high school class. Now I'm an honors student in college.

I was a band geek. I was in just about every advanced performing group that was offered.... notice I said "advanced" which meant that I was good and practiced a lot. I even got a medalian from the music department my senior year. BOO YAH!
and then I went on to get a music degree.

I'm still in highschool but I'm considered to be the Smart Girl... Sure, I have the highest average for all of the freshman at my school, but that doesn't give others the right to call me that... Also, I'm Quiet, and Antisocial. Yeah... I guess I could fit into all of them but I'd rather not because I'm more than a name!

I was a second rate athelete in a second rate wrestling program,so I guess I wasn't really a "jock". Probably more of the "rebel". I still march to the beat of my own drum(no one else hears it,or wait, maybe it's all in my head) At least I'm not a drunk anymore.

I was a party girl. I hung with a group who did a lot of beer drinking but I was on honor roll and very active in school. I am not so much a party girl now but I am still active in a lot of things.

I am kind of one of those kids where they dont give a sh*t about what other people thinks of them, the one that dances down the hallway without fear, the one people call "weird" behind their backs, the kid that is young and crazy and is nice to everyone, so basically I am just me. But I am also in the all around popular thing, not the groupie thing. =]
