1) Wilde (1997)...he played a rentboy (aka male prostitute) and said one line in one scene. The film itself was very interesting; its about the author, Oscar Wilde.
2) LOTR 1(2001)

3) Black Hawk Down (2002)...he plays Private 1st Class Todd Blackburn and his role is not very big. This is a good war film.

4) LOTR 2 (2002)

5) Ned Kelly (2003)...he plays Joe Byrne. If you go and look at the story of Ned Kelly, its one heck of a tale. The film is based on one version of the story. Heath Ledger plays Ned Kelly. Orlando's character is his best friend.

6) The Calcium Kid (2003)...he plays Jimmy Connelly. This is a great comedy...in fact, every once in a while, its shown on Comedy Central.

7) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)...he plays William Turner. I have to say, Johnny Depp makes a much sexier pirate.

8) LOTR 3 (2003)

9) Troy (2004)...he plays Paris, prince of Troy. The movie is great, but by the end, I was very mad at Orlando's character.

10) Haven (2004)...he plays Shy and he co-produced the film. It was shown at some film festival and should be released in theaters near the end of 2007.

11) Kingdom of Heaven (2005)...he plays Balian of Ibelin. Though many people said this movie was bad, I rather enjoyed it. Its really thought proviking...why people go to war, why is war considered a solution, etc.

12) Elizabethtown (2005)...he plays Drew Baylor. Again, it got bad reviews and many said it was bad, but I LOVED this movie. Its a romantic comedy. Orlando's character is an American, so he had to get rid of his British accent for the film. For any Brittish actor/actress, it is very hard to do this without slipping up. I believe it takes one good Brittish actor to play the role of an american.

13) Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)...he plays William Turner again. Its a pretty good movie, not as good as the last one though!

14) Love and Other Disasters (2006)...he plays a Hollywood Paolo. This movie has not yet been released. His sister is in this movie too.

15) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (title not yet decided) (2007)...he plays William Turner again. This movie has not yet been released.

16) Seasons of Dust (2007)...he plays Ricky. This film has not yet been confirmed.

Hope this helps!

I'm apparently one of the few who likes him in Pirates. I actually think he did a better job there than in LOTR because Legolas was a little too wooden, whereas Will Turner is pretty funny.

I do love him as Legolas, but I rather enjoyed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, as well. Also, I don't care what other people think, I liked "Elizabethtown." He gave a funny & touching performance, that I could relate to. This was also the first film that made me think he was attractive as a non-elf.

Pirates of the Caribbean, of course. I'm not as fond of him in contemporary pieces, but he's a good actor.
