Good question, but isn't it the system to blame rather than the recipient. With wages for many jobs being so low where is the incentive?
(i work full time)

They R rewarded 4 being scroungers.
Every time the Establishment try 2 invent a new/fair way of making these people work, they bottle at the final hurdle & pay them 2 go 2 work!
& it's always against their Human rights, 2 make them work.
It's easier 2 fiddle, get their rent free, prescriptions free, dental care free, school dinners, god the list goes on & on!
It's difficult 2 give up.
I think they should B made 2 serve the Community, ensuring they get up in the morning rather than mid-afternoon!
& give something back 2 society 4 the easy-ride at the Tax-payers expense.

I have barely worked a day in my life. I am an extremely skilled non-worker.
If my parents keep leaning on me to get a job. I may have to take out a loan and go to school until they cool down. They can't kick me out of the treehouse because I built it with my own hands!
I have explored nearly every avenue of not working and living off the graces of others during my many years of unemployment.
Why do I do it? I like sleeping alot I guess.
What makes me think it's ok to take and not give? I figure as long as it's just me and not too many others figure out how to work the system and live the easy life.... then it's ok. I'm just living the dream!
Anyway, I figure if those capitalist dogs at the top can live off the poor working man....why can't a guy at the bottom like me do it? I'm just as smart when it comes to manipulating the system and making it come out in my favor!

people that are capable of working and getting a job but instead leech off the system are scum and should be punished severly. however it is also the states fault for allowing people to abuse the system in the first place. i mean if somone was in the middle of town handing out 1 million pounds in check form to anyone that wanted it, but you where told that, that money would come from the government, you know the people that tax everyone so much i know that a lot of people would probably take it, even though its wrong. and anyone that can honestly say they wouldnt take it, has my respect. so i place most of the blaim on the system (the government) for allowing this to happen

due to the British occupation system some of us r forced to claim benefits because car plants mines factories warehouses and others have been closed most of these employ the biggest majority of the population of Britain so u tell me is ur job safe because a mate of mine thought he had a stable job for the past 10 years was made redundant and payed a measly redundancy payout for 10 years of hard work just like that so think yourselves Lucky but not that Lucky cause ur job could be on the line and we can see u down the dole office its that easy

its true, they value their time more than what they would get paid for it. If circumstances were to change and perhaps they thought they could get a better paid job im sure more would be inticed to work. some are plain lazy, some are in rut, some genuinely cant get job. its the first 2 i detest.:)
i have to admit i have thought about the advantages of livin on less money and not having to put up with the hustle and bustle and rushing around etc, but overall work and the extra income to spend on luxuries just about overcomes it. teenage mothers and non working and dole exploiting immigrants is what i really hate.

It gives me great satisfaction in the knowledge that several of you out there will work you entire lives paying taxes just to support me. I watch TV and think ha ha some of you pay for a licence to watch this rubbish. I go on the internet and think you idiots pay money to download these songs and films. And then I sleep and think you idiots work for 25 years to pay for the roof over your head when I get mine for free. Who is the dumber one now?
Just for the record I do actually have a job and am not currently and hopefully never will claim dissability, but I imagine that is what they think.

hi first I am 55 and have been fortunate and worked all my days some folks are happy to get by on a giro and it must take a skill of sorts to do it and not go nuts. I think that skill should be rewarded with a more sustainable budget for them to work with after all how would YOU survive on the pittance they get and what would your mental health be like? Better to help them than put them down.

I have always worked, even when I was left to bring up my three kids. I have a friend who sits on her **** and is too lazy to walk to shops most days, I love her dearly but that side of her personality really winds me up, especially when she moans about not having money.
