Really the only anime I'm familiar with is InuYasha, Full Metal Alchemist, and Naruto. I love the first one but FMA and Naruto bore me. I also have seen a movie called Grave of the Fireflies which I really liked. Any suggestions on animes I can try watching on the internet that might appeal to my taste?

I'll give them a try before choosing a best answer.

Seeing as you're an Inuyasha fan, here's some of Rumiko Takahashi's other works:

Maison Ikkoku
Ranma 1/2
Urusei Yatsura
Mermaid Saga

The "teacher" of the one who made Grave of the Fireflies also made:

Spirited Away
Nausissa of the Vally of the Wind
My Neighbor Totoro
Princess Mononoke
Castle in the Sky
Kiki's Delivery Service
Howl's Moving Castle

lmao. Any anime-fan who hates Excel Saga has issues :D

My personal favs are Princess Mononoke, Black Cat, Karin, Hunter x Hunter and currently chasing after Deathnote.

naruto and full metal bore you so im guessing you're into more of a sappy story line. like inuyasha. well a real angst ridden series would be any one of the gundam series, especially the new ones. good story line, grandiose space battles, and mecha! umm, another good one you might like is a manga by the name of death note. also try hikaro no go. for more of a scarefest/ gore fest with a nice story line try battle royale. it's got a pretty good live action movie too.

I'm suprised that Full Metal and Naruto bored you because the exact opposite happened to me, I use to be a big Inuyasha fan until I noticed the same thing happens each season, in the end Naraku will still be a manipulative bastard, Sesshoumaru is still cooler than Inuyasha, Inuyasha will still be too weak to defeat Naraku's new plot device power and Kikyo will still be a *****.

I'm not extremely familiar with anime, but I know a little bit about it (I'm more into manga. I'm a manga artist.) There are usually a few good anime TV shows on Adult Swim (on Cartoon Network.) I watch them every once in a while. If you want to watch them on the internet, go to

www.adultswim.com

I hope I helped! Good luck!

Ooooh, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Monokoe (I can *never* remember the spelling on that one) and, er....Spirited Away for movies. Manga? I'd say Petshop of Horrors, More Starlight for Your Heart, etc.

I have a feeling about Bleach, dubbed or subbed, and Cowboy bebop or Samurai Champloo. Right now I'm into Akira and Escaflowne and Wolf's Rain.
